Curt's Buick 215cid powered 1967 MGB/GT
(images and text from when he posted it for sale in February 2006)
"I purchased this 1967 MGB GT about 6 years ago while in medical school in New Orleans.
I essentially gutted the car to metal, repaired any major rust damage or treated
with POR-12, did a V8 conversion with 1963 Buick 215. Project went well, but unable
to fully complete due to several minor issues I no longer have time to resolve.
I am now a surgeon with little spare time to pursue hobbies.
"Starts quickly without complication and runs smoothly. All I do however is drive it in/out of garage
(1st gear and reverse) and not for road test since too many things remain to obtain VIN and smog.
"This MGB is not for the faint of heart - it requires more than a shade-tree mechanic. This car is
ideal for someone who wants an MG V8 conversion with all the right parts but has the know-how to
complete the job. Between myself and buddy, we did a great job, but not phenomenal. In light of
moving to LA this year and working 100 hours weekly, I have neither time nor inclination to complete
the project. It is sold as-is."
