David White's 1974.5 MGB, with Rover V8
(as recorded by Dan Masters)Dave informed us that the Rover V8 has been mildly massaged, and fitted with Holley 390cfm 4160 carb, plus Offenhauser valve covers. Converted to chrome bumpers, the car has also been lowered 2 inches all the way around.
"I bought it from a retired Boeing guy after he bought it from the original owner who had it built in Portland, Oregon. Total receipts in excess of 25K. Goes like hell, but the rear suspension is a damn buckboard. Women think it's cute! Guys can't believe it's a V8."
