Engine: Rover 3500 V8
Engine: | Rover 3500cc aluminum V8 with Edelbrock intake manifold and Holley 390 carburetor.
Electronic ignition. Electric fuel pump. Lucas alternator. |
Exhaust: | twin 2" exhaust system. |
Cooling: | twin electric fans. |
Transmission: | original Borg Warner Type 65 three speed automatic transmission,
(utilizing original shifter and driveshaft). |
Suspension: | (note: these cars came stock with four wheel independent suspension.)
The McPherson-strut front suspension is stock except for heavy duty springs.
The rear suspension is stock except with gas shock absorbers. |
Rear End: | Holden 3.08 in modified original axle housing, with Datsun 180B half shafts. |
Brakes: | original (servo assisted, with discs in front and drums in rear.) |
Wheels/Tires: | 14x6 Performance aluminum 8-spoke wheels with Bridgestone 185 tires. |
Interior: | Triumph "2500 PI" dashboard and gauges (speedometer, tachometer, fuel level,
coolant temperture, oil pressure and volts. Note: the "PI" was the premium
version of the 2500, which featured fuel injection as well as a different
instrumentation package, apparently.) |
Completed: | in 1991 by a previous owner. |
