GENERAL NOTES | |||
We left some slack in the schedule so people could take self-guided scenic
drives on our curvy East-Texas backroads, and we recommended some favorite routes.
Locals pronounce the name of our host city "Pal-uh-steen". Palestine is "wet," meaning there are liquor stores in town and also beer and wine may be purchased in grocery stores. | |||
| |||
* | Meals and tours marked with an asterisk were included in the registration fee, for participants and their guests. |
On our way to BritishV8 2012... we enjoyed a Shreveport Rendevous!
Organized by Kelly Stevenson, the Shreveport Rendesvous was a way to extend BritishV8 2012 by one night!
We gathered together on Saturday, May 19th in Shreveport and then continued on Sunday the final 135 miles
into Palestine.
